Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: May 12, 2025

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs all use of the CrudeLogic platform. By using CrudeLogic you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

2. Professional Conduct

CrudeLogic is a professional network for the oil and gas industry. All interactions — posts, messages, bids, job listings, and reviews — must be professional, accurate, and respectful. Harassment, threats, or discrimination of any kind will result in immediate account termination.

3. Prohibited Content

  • False, misleading, or fraudulent job listings, RFQs, or marketplace listings
  • Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property
  • Spam — unsolicited bulk messages or connection requests
  • Content that violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Personal attacks, hate speech, or discriminatory content
  • Malware, phishing links, or malicious code
  • Fake reviews or manipulation of ratings

4. Prohibited Activities

  • Scraping or harvesting data from the platform without written permission
  • Attempting to circumvent access controls, rate limits, or subscription gates
  • Creating fake or duplicate accounts
  • Using the platform to facilitate unauthorized transactions outside the platform
  • Reverse engineering any part of the CrudeLogic software
  • Sharing your account credentials with others

5. Commercial Use

Only genuine oilfield businesses, service companies, operators, and staffing firms may post commercial content (job listings, RFQs, marketplace listings). Misrepresenting your business type or capabilities is a violation of this AUP.

6. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this AUP, report it using the flag/report controls in the app or by emailing abuse@crudelogic.app. We review all reports and take appropriate action.

7. Enforcement

CrudeLogic reserves the right to remove content, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate this AUP, our Terms of Service, or our Privacy Policy at our sole discretion. We may also report illegal activity to law enforcement.
